she was originally going to be another spinel, but I felt a Quartz would befit this better, given that they are large in size and most likely the most intimidating gem time [besides the Diamonds that is]

she earned her name by the legend of krampus being thrown around little homeworld, and a human came up with the name during art class.

she has fuzzy memories of her life before corruption, most of which are unpleasant, and the only thing she could remember bringing her immense joy is Gingerbread's companionship and Era 3. should anyone try to disturb said peace and hurt Steven or Gingerbread, there will be heck to pay. She's generally quite awkward, and doesn't communicate well, and sort of needs gingerbread around to translate her. her collar is to warn others of her presence.

while it won't make much sense, the corruption screwed up her coding and she's stuck with a semi-feral mindset.

also, the chain idea is that she's also able to retract it back into her gemstone, with the ability to pull others into it. That or she'll just take it out to beat and/or whip the person around. or assist in sleigh rides.
