before i delve into my crossover-verse, I've been thinking a bit about Sam. design wise, that is.

Sure, I like drawing her, but I find that some things to her are becoming a bit of "complex" for lack of a better term. mainly in her body shape. I'm fine with drawing hips, but for some reason, the chest has become quite taxing for me. (especially with some of thebside views were I have to worry about the 'mounds' being aligned correctly >_>)

that and, I found she wasn't "alien" enough in appearance. and since I'm expanding upon her race (specimeow, because i can't think of a more creative name yet-), I figured this wierd-looking feral-esc appearance would make more sense than the whole "anthro" aesthetic.

so... I not only simplified her, but I kinda modified her to have a more "subtle" appearance.

while that chest of hers is no longer visible, she's still got the weighty legs and tuft of purple hair at least. she's got the stereotypical large alien eyes, and her face is practically naked without all of those feline facial features. and her mouth's not visible, but when it is, she's got the creepy mini-teeth and wide smile.

her antennas look more like moth feelers and her neck ruffle is more noticeable.

and finally lickity! not only does she have feelers, but she's finally got eyes now! (tailmaws with eyes are widely uncommon for some reason.) might look uncanny, but that's all the better for the extraterrestrial appearance.

overall, she might not look very pleasant, I assure you this is a draft. I still have a lot of kinks to work out before I make up a final cut.

for now, get used to seeing this freaky noseless form of hers, because you might be seeing her a lot.
