Description
This is a picture of my first puppet I made, created about... 3-4 months ago.

It is a live hand puppet, where two people are needed to make the full use of it. The other useable hand is usually stuffed into the pocket at the front (however, after my.. 4th attempt at taking this picture with a self timer, the hand started to slip out)

Things to note... As this was my first puppet, I did experiment with things like the mouth and how to make the arms. Though, I do admit, this experimentation with the mouth lead it to being fairly hard to control.

I at first used a thin cereal box cardboard for the mouth, but I made the mouth a little too big plus it wasn't strong enough and it collasped under the weight of the head. I have now reinforced it with some thicker carboard and it's now easier to use.

With the arms, I did cut the sleeve too high originally (just above the stripes) and while it did work, it made the shoulder look stretched and the arm didn't look as realistic. So I managed to fix that...I was going to add extra sleeves to hide the puppeteer's arms but unfortunately, I had ran out of materials and I couldn't afford to go buy more.

I believes thats nearly all.. Oh yes! This was my first attempt at using a glue gun and it shows if you are up close. I'm a little messy but I improved on that with the second puppet (only a little though)
