Description
The door opened and closed. Through it walked the tall, earthy blond. She carried a simple bag, full of all the supplies she needed for the day.The library was silent, as always. The row of computers waited for people. The shelves of bookcases waited for browsing.
The books themselves, they waited for someone to read them. Some were old with wear, some looked as if they were just added today, but all waited paitently.
The blond sat at a far computer, setting her bag by her side, and started her work. She did this whenever she could. Studied. All the time studying. Not that she had to, but she rarely knew what else to do. Studying was enjoyable to her, the only thing she truly enjoyed.
Not that she wasn't attractive and could garner dates for these lonely Saturday nights. Her blond hair seemed to be taht of an angel's with it's natural glow and how it flowed even in still air. her earthy tone, a naturally tan skin, which meant her face never needed make-up and never recieved any. She was also well-endowed otherwise.
Yet still she would always be found studying in that library on lonely evenings. If anyone truely noticed this, they certainly would have brought it to her attention. None did though, because she was in constant hiding in that library.
The blond looked over boring notes and sometimes typed them up so as to know them better. She looked up and looked around herself. She suddenly knew her fate, what lies before her, and knew it could not be changed.
The librarian turned to see the blond and smiled. The blond returned to her work, knowing now what she would become.
