Here's a special look at how I draw eyes in my pics, projects, and drawings in general!

Part 2: Part 3:

To start things off, let's look at the normal eyes! What I do for these is just put in a normal sized colored circle. Whatever color the character's eyes are, that's the colored circle I will give them as their pupils. I would draw black pupils in the eyes, but I'm more used to drawing eyes this way.

Next we move on to the excited, curious, and mesmerized eyes, where no matter which feelings these are, the eyes will get very very VERY big. For these I draw them one of two ways. Either draw the colored circles very big with added circles for a better effect, or I just make them big and add the only time I will draw the black parts of the pupils, along with a white dot to represent that sparkly bit in the eyes we have.

And last but certainly not least is the shocked, scared, angry, and surprised eyes. This is where the pupils are so small that they are no longer colored circles, they are now colored dots. Also as pointed out to the right, extra circles around the pupils are optional! This was something I took from classic Disney cartoons and movies, Don Bluth, Looney Tunes, and Ed, Edd n Eddy, mostly because the way they pull them off is both funny and cool looking.

Also a bit of a fun fact: When I started out, the eyes I always drew were with just dots. It wasn't until I made a request where Pikachu met Rainbow Dash(something that is now gone from my part of DA) where I ended up getting a comment to develop the way I draw eyes better, since Dash looked like she was shocked to see Pikachu rather than excited, which resulted in the way I draw eyes today in which you see here!
