It looks simply amazing.
Shame all the crows were not in focus but it seems to make an ominous atmosphere the way it has been created so despite my small objections (due to my utmost love of these birds) i think the picture is great.
It sees me on my way to viewing the rest of your album in a shread of hope that perhaps some people on this site still hold spectacular skills in the art of photography and art.

why did you use the extender? what are extenders meant for?

a 300mm lens + 2x ext = a 600mm lens.

Yes, it does decrease depth of field but not so essentially image quality. It's enough sharp even with the largest aperture, f5.6.
