Ruin was once a starship captain on his own world, and memories of space flight were some of his first to return to him. It's partly what drew him to the navigator path, but sometimes his wrathful and immature nature surfaces and he remains bored in class, much to the chagrin of his peers. If questioned though, Ruin will answer correctly, in a bored an monotone voice, raspy from the burn scars around his neck.
