Description
While the Assyrian's were plundering Southern Babylon, across the stars on Xenos 4; a planetside war was brewing between the majority wisdom-oriented population of the Greys & their cannibalistic tribal cousins that still populated the indigo jungles.Xenos 4 was built upon a supernatural religious doctrine and caste that was empowered by The Three, supposedly omnipotent Zir that attained "enlightenment" and phenomenally impossible psychic powers that even demigods would fear.
While most Zir over the centuries intertwined their very existence and livelihood around the Three (as three literal physical holy-ones, and three soulbound tenants of morality), many still clung to their tribal past and stuck to the shadows of the foliage, while the rest of Zir society built mighty skyscrapers of silver & silicon, traveled the stars, and brought hunger to an end with advanced farming & agriculture. Eventually bringing their diets to a herbivoric state, which their newly followed tenants also played a part in.
Cherum Bhri brought together the last of the Wild Greys into a coalition of bloodthirsty raiders to overtake the Three and kill any civilized Zir. Greed and power-hunger are said to be the main reasons for the gathering of barbarians. Food being the obvious reason, seeing that they always crave each other's flesh to the point of trying to cut each other's digits off while the other is clueless. When one gets caught, he will immediately meet his end by a blade to the throat, or go down in brawl, striking, biting and clawing until one succumbs & becomes a meal. Or be willing to give up a body part in exchange for life. Most of the Wild Greys viewed the new scientifically adept society as a giant brewing cauldron of meat ready to be seasoned, cooked and devoured.
The war was brutal, indescribable suffering on part of the Greys. Several vessels managed to breach the waiting blockade of Bhri-loyalists, but many were shot down before they could warp-jump out of the system.
One of these ships eventually found it's way to Earth several centuries later in the Sol year 1953 in Roswell, NM.
Only one out of the four crew members survived.
This sole surviving Grey, Jo'vunn "David" Hyl, will eventually take up arms to help defend Earth and take the fight to Xenos, where he will liberate his homeworld from the barbarian and bring together the shards of his shattered race.
