Hmm, makes me want to roll down one of those hills and lay on the grass looking at the clouds

This reminds me a lot of valleys in and around Snowdon. Turns out they were formed by the same process, which explains a lot.

What a great capture ~ did you climb to get this shot, or was it from a helicopter?

Sam you have got my home sickness to an all time high today in New Zealand. this photograph embodies everything i hold dear and miss so much. the wide expanse of landscape, the knowledge that you can walk it as far as the eye can see and beyond. the lighting on the fell sides, the colour of the bracken and the patchworked valley floor, so so typically cumbrian, its cries out to be faved. You as ever have done a tremendous job, superb work, and you should be proud of it. simon

Thank you so much for your feedback! I alway enjoy reading what you have to say about my photos, very inspirational. How long are you in New Zealand for? That's 3rd on my list of countries to visit after Canada and Australia.
