A comm I got a while back from they did a great job on a silly idea I had ^^

Hearing about a con that was coming to a city close to the homestead Faye decided that she wanted to give it a try too. She asked Shadow and Gwendolyn, but they said they had no time to go, thus Faye decided to invite some friends she met! After discussing what costumes everyone would wear, to make the group match, they decided to go for some overwatch heroes.

Heading into town Faye searched around for some parts of her costume, the outfit itself wasn't too hard to get, some mixing and matching, but it was done fairly quickly, the staff however was a bit of a problem.

After walking around for a couple of hours Faye stumbled upon a shop in a dark alleyway, a strange sign hanging outside. Thinking it couldn't hurt to try, seen as none of the other stores sold what she needed, Faye went inside. Inside the shop it was even stranger, herbs hanging on one wall, while the other was full of strange devices, somehow they looked advanced but she could not see why, seen as there were barely any electronics or mechanical parts present. "Uhm, hello? Is anyone there?" Faye asked, as she wondered how it all worked. "Ah! A customer, how nice" came from the back, before a young woman, covered in strange tattoo's, walked from the back "How can I help you miss?"

"woooow" Faye said, before remembering her manners "Ah, sorry! My name is Faye, I was looking for a staff like this one" Faye said showing a picture of the staff to the woman. "Hmmm, alright, alright, I think I might have something" She said, before disappearing to the back again. Coming back out with the staff a minute later the woman hold it out to her "Is this what you are looking for?"

"Ah yes, it's perfect!" Faye said, face lighting up "I have been searching for something like this all day! How much is it?" she asked the woman excitedly. "haha, well then good you found my little shop then, that will be 40 euro's miss" Handing over the money Faye took the staff from the woman "Thank you so much, now I have everything I need for the costume!" Faye said, before heading out, giving one last wave to the woman.

A couple days later Faye was standing in front of the building where the con was being held, looking around for her friends. Before long someone waved to her "Hey Faye over here!" A young woman said, dressed in a Widowmaker costume, as she drew the attention to her and the two other girls with her. "Astrid, Stelard, Chrizel! You made it!" Faye said happily, running over to the girls. "Woooooow, your costumes look great!" Faye said excitedly, walking around the girls and touching the fabric "so nicely done"

While she was doing this two more people arrived, one dressed as Sombra and one as Moira. "h-hi there, how are you all?" the girl dressed as Sombra asked, making Faye look up. "Nala! Aiya! Your costumes also look great!" Faye said, immediately walking to the other two girls and inspecting their costumes as well "your costumes look great, too"

"O-oh, t-thank you" Nala said, face turning slightly red as the other girl ran her hands over her costume. Letting out a small laugh Chrizel grabbed Faye "Come on, give the poor girl some space"

Only now realizing that she got a little overexcited Faye quickly takes her hands off Nala "O-oh, I am so sorry, all your costumes are just so awesome!" she says, in an attempt to apologize. "I-it's alright" Nala stammers "y-your costume looks really nice as well!"

"Oooh, thank you! I made the wings functional and got this staff from a store, it looks perfect, wanna see?" Faye asked, all her excitement back, as she activates the wings and floats off the ground, grabbing the attention of a passerby. "Ah, you chose overwatch heroes too huh?" a robotic girl, dressed as Echo says, as Faye points the staff at the others. "Look, now we look like a real team right ^^" Faye says excitedly, before the staff begins to glow, before an arcane ray comes out and connects all of the girls... and start expanding them in various ways.

"W-what?!" "EEP!" "AAH!" can be heard, as the girls get hit by the ray and start to expand, they shout at the sudden feeling, whereas Chrizel only seemed to be enjoying it.

In a complete panic Faye floats above the others, wildly flailing the staff about "stop stop stop stop, how do I turn this off" The girl says trying to make it stop, not even knowing where to start with it.

"If I'm not even part of the group, then why is this affecting me!??" Marissa says annoyed, as she seemed to be hit by the effects as well...

Yes, I kept it with an open ending, leaving it up to you all to decide how this one goes on, do they keep growing? Does Faye manage to stop the spell? Does it disappear itself, or are the effects more permanent?
