Brilliant.

The last time Samus was kissed by an enemy was the moment things started going epically wrong for her, so that's got to be playing large in her mind. Her expressions are perfect, but your use of expression has always been strong and it's nice to see that in evidence here.

I love the idea of insane machines, too. This one works wonders, being menacing, an escapee of the pirates, and on the run from the Federation. Someone operating outside of every major force. Reminds me of another one of Samus' enemies I wouldn't mind seeing more of...

There's a darker edge to this story than we've seen in a while and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Well done, sir.
