Why are you holding your paint tube like that? Do you dip right off of the tube?

Yes, in fact I am... I noticed that I really don't like wasting paint and often ended up using more of paint that I didn't want only because it was already on the palette. So I now skip the whole palette part and apply and mix paint directly on the painting =]
