here's my 3rd batch of buttons on sale at : [link]
a quick explanation of the chinese words buttons :
all 3 words are made up of 2 components, top and bottom, both of which also have some sort of meaning.
the blue button :
"忍"- the word means "Endure". the word itself is made up of the word "刃" which means "edge of a knife" and "心", which means "heart". (so it's kinda like the blade of a knife over your heart )
it also means ninja XD
the red button:
"恶" - the word means "Evil" or "Bad". the word is made up of the word "亚", which is a meaningless "ya" sound; and the "心" heart.
the yellow button:
"忠" - the word means "Loyalty". it's made up of the word "中", which means "center" (and it also gives the word it's pronunciation), and the word for heart "心".
wasn't that interesting?
(chinese is a damn hard language to learn... at least, for me ;__

In Chinese 忍 doesn't mean ninja. I don't know about kanji. 恶 doesn't mean evil, it simply means fierce; ferocious.
Good work on the buttons though. I really liked the white outline thing.

Technically 亞/亚 (I use traditional) means Asia, as in 亞洲, or second place 亞軍/ 亚军 as well. So it's not an altogether meaningless word XD

wow,I love those buttons,they are really colorful.......yeah,Chinese is a hard language to learn,I took chinese in high school and it was pretty difficult since u had to learn four different tones,but it worth it.

Eek, I love the fox ones, particularly the blue one! But the backgrounds on the rest are just amazing! Also, good job impersonating the calligraphy style.

yeah, it's a very hard language. I think the characters are easier to learn than speaking it though. five tones for the same word?! that's insain. four is an mistrusted number because it's the same word as death, they're just different tones! thats crazly complicated if you ask me, at least as characters they're easy to tell apart. I think they're all Hao-Ji-Le!!! (that's pinyin because i don't know how to type characters on here)

Chinese is one of the hardest languages in the world to learn if I recall correctly. 0-o Don't feel bad, haha.
I like the blue button though, I wish I had money leftover from Christmas present shopping to order some. x-x
