sandara Can I just state how much video games and animation has affected art in the modern world. Due to these two things it is far either to show and play in a world of infinite possibilities. In no other time in history could you see play on other worlds were humans war with aliens. Or see a kid who learns to control the four fundamental elements.This ability to see and interact with a world of infinite possibilities. Has definitely influenced your work. No offense to your creativity. But their is no way you illustrate something this creative and well made. Without the influence of animation and gaming.

Well, in the case of this specific artwork, of course! It's a fan art of the game Horizon Zero Dawn, so none of these creatures or the girl is designed by me.
In general though, I do think of games as a unique art form and since I've been playing games since I was a kid, they definitely have a huge impact on me and my art.

I swear the sawtooth looks like it has the perfect built in saddle and before I paid any attention to tool tips I for sure thought I was going to ride it

I love this sort of stuff. I've always loved the idea of machine beasts, but never could draw them well. I get too stuck on 'How does it work? How does it move?' and then drown looking for references that don't exist lol.

Amazing work as always! And I completely agree! This game has become my recent obsession, and I was so bummed when I found out you could only use three of the machines as mounts! (I was super excited for the Stormbird tbh but the Sawtooth and Ravager were just as exciting!) I hope they put in DLC or whatnot that expands the mounting/taming system to where hacked creatures actually follow you!
