When they do t-shirts sometimes...........they are made with some plastic paint or something and it shines!

I once ordered a shirt (to check out the print) I did create on spreadshirt and the print looked good and didn't shine [link] . It's not a vector so it's digitally printed. Someone who ordered one said the print still looked good but I didn't test it myself. Printing it myself would be to expensive...
