Peri from Spliced! I love that cartoon! And Peri is just adorable...I can't believe how hard he is to draw. When I first picked up my paper I though ¨Hah! Too easy, his head are just egg-shaped (not really)... Ok, it's longer... Oh no, the eyes aren't suposed to be there! His ears are too long!¨
Yeah... So don't let this little fella fool you! His body is very easy to draw though...
It was great fun to draw him! I'm definitely gonna draw him again!
Haha... When I first saw Spliced...
I zapped around on several different channels, but there was nothing to see. Then I saw the information for Nickelodeon, and it was a cartoon called ¨Skruvat¨ (Spliced, I think the english translation for ¨Skruvat¨ would be something like ¨twisted¨, or ¨wierd¨.
) So I watched it. My first thought was ¨What is that wierd cat-thing! It's... kinda ugly....¨ But how wrong I was. I was totally hooked on his adorable voice, and then he became cuter and cuter... Now I can't take my eyes of him! The show is amazing!
I'm usually not so fond of cartoons, but Spliced is something very different!

They still haven't found a channel for it yet? I talked with Simon (one of the creators of the show) via email about a half year ago, and he said they was looking for another channel, since qubo was for younger kids...

yeah, suppose it could be either Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon, but I doubt that it would be on Cartoon Network, since the channel is being over-saturated with live action.

Aren't all cartoon channels full of live action today? They don't even show many cartoons any more... I miss all old cartoons. :C
Here in sweden they show Spliced on Nickelodeon, though they have changed time for the show so many times, and now I can't watch it anymore. They show it when I'm in school... That's a shame.

Me too, I see some peple blame the logos for the changes but that's not the case. I blame the network heads for making these bad descisions. John Samples was head of Cartoon Network for 13 years before he resigned in 2007 due to this:[link] He was then replaced by some other guy who already ruined another channel. The channel got a third new logo, but it's less impressive than the the last two logos.

How could it be the logos fault? xD I agree that the logos can't get any worse than they are right now, but they don't cause very much trouble, right?

Yep, I think 2005 was the best year because more than 20 cartoons premiered and they still had the old shows on the air.

Does Peri have 1 or 2 ears cuz ya only see one all the time, exept when he dropped into the volcano i think i saw 2.

when i watched the episode "Nightmare on Condemned Street" I thought Peri is the cuuuuutest!!!!! Especially when he's asleep on that DreamBucket machine thing.

Well, I had to practise to be able to draw him some what good. xD
I use Photoshop for my colored pics. Though most of my work are sketched by hand, scanned and colored in PH. Including this.
I don't really understand what you mean by natural. You mean I don't copy them or something? If that's what you're wondering, I'm not copying Peri's expressions. I prefer it when it's not copied.
