Am still not used to the style..but I guess the stories and dialogue are the ones that grab ya.

The style takes some used to. That's how it was when I watched Spectacular Spider-Man as well; the stylization was so odd, but the over-arcing character development and extremely well-written plots and stories made up for it.

I was sold by the Lizard episode, which I believe was episode 3. That was amazing and, strangely, GRAPHIC retelling of that character, with the regrowing amputated hand.

Exactly. The series, for the first time, sympathize with Eddie Brock (Venom). At first, I wasn't sure where they were going with him, but as the series went on and he got the symboint, I went "OMG! This is amazing!" One of my favourite episodes is when Spider-Man fights the Sinister Six at an operahouse -- and, as a fan of opera, I loved it! Using Rigoletto had a lot of symbolism.
