one last piece before i leave for australia. hopefully i dont get killed by some critter down there while im away. i hear them Koalas are hella dangerous... and know kung fu!

Wouldn't the night howler mostly be applied to predators? The reason why Nick was shot with the drug rather than Judy was because she was just a small, harmless and overall delicate prey, compared to Nick being a larger, more physically powerful and imposing predator.

All I did was look up the picture book of Zootopia from Little Golden Books, as well as a summary off of the Disney wiki, and not really watch the movie itself. Can you please specify for me? Thanks.
And if that's the case, then why didn't Bellwether fire the night howler dart at Judy, just to make her kill Nick instead? Was it because she was way too small and delicate a prey to kill Nick, and so it would be much more applicable to a larger, more physically imposing predator like Nick?

It was to further prove her point that predators are dangerous and should be feared and what better way than for a fox to maim, kill, and possibly eat a defenseless bunny? Bonus points for them being seen as all buddy-buddy earlier.
And in the beginning they just thought that all the predators were regressing back to their primal states and it was only after hearing a story from her parents about one of her uncles who was affected by the plant that Judy realized that predators were specifically being targeted by chemical means.

Luckily, it was all just a trick, anyway. Nick and Judy literally swapped Bellwether's night howler darts with blueberries from Judy's family farm, just to trick her into exposing her plans to a voice recorder installed in Judy's carrot pen.
And, every time I look at Nick and Judy as tricksters like in that scene, and it always reminds me of Bugs Bunny. He had a long history tricking and deceiving characters like Elmer Fudd, Daffy Duck, Yosemite Sam, and a variety of others, mostly so that he could anger them for his own amusement, like an internet troll way before we even had the internet. And apparently, the writers of the movie probably saw those qualities in Bugs Bunny, as well as a variety of other anthropomorphic animal tricksters throughout history, e.g. Renard the Fox, and applied them to Judy and Nick just so that we could have that revelation.

I knew someone would bring this up. Disney cut out the part about one part of animals is that they F*** like almost anytime there in the mood. Spring being the most. And that males are extremely violent that time to. Males will out right do this to anything that is between them and making babies. I hope you remember that when you go to Australia. Since half of that island is nothing but wildlife. Also koalas don't know kung fu. But they are a type of bear. So are pandas. Which is why stupid people keep being surprised to see these adroable furry creatures rip someone in half. I mean come idiots. You honestly think that only grizzly & black bears are killing machines when confronted?
