Hithis is a piece that I have been working on for some time now and you may notice its my avatar too. I drew the creture on paper and scanned it in but the background was solely done on photoshop...
and I love the grass brush it saved me alot of time in this picture, with some minor adjustments ofcourse ^_^

I love the glowy effects on the creature and the soft light in the background, like it's late afternoon or something. The light really set off the dark-looking creature. And the details on the trees make them very life-like. Excellent job!

Well a forest like that is usually full of decaying stuff but I've seen forest like that before, I think it's fine the way it is. ^^
