Description
Haunting me since I received a year ago certain remix fromDecided to hunt it down
I didnΒ΄t do this as fanart to the movie(!), especially not to the one from year 2004!
I read every available book about Phantom in my 19 years and was a pure fangirl. I was always fan of Sarah Brightman/Steve Harley version~
So here is my version of Phantom and Christine.
For interested ones:
Here is link to the remix - [link]
And here link to the old video/version

Michael Crawford all the way!
Sorry, to each her own..
This is amazing!
I wish I could draw like this,
but I suppose I'll just stick to cartoons..

Very nice atmosphere in this one. You really get the sense that she's "possessed" by him when she sings.

Wow, so beautiful. The sketchiness in it is so beautiful, it really adds to the rawness of the picture. Just LOVE it. <3

I would sa both. Depends how old you are. If you are teenages and like to watch fun and fantasy, definitely Labyrinth.
If you are older, I recommend Vendetta, but it contain violance, blood...and it is quite heavy, but yet qualitative...

What was Vendetta about anyways? I was so confused with the commercials... TT.TT
Oh, I'm sixteen, I imagine I'm old enough. Not sure though. :0

My, that remix version was quite intense. I liked it....and so did my mom here. I love the way you drew Christine here, the pose and especially the expression... I've seen some singing faces drawn in a way that look less like singing, more like just mouth being open, but you can practically hear her voice there.

Oh, that is a good thing than! Yes, I was very carefull to make her look realistic, natural, but not ugly, but yet believable she is singing. Thanks! Intense things are good xD
(I might send you some music if you want, just write me note )

my gawd, the shading is so crisp and clean and the hands, THE HANDS!!! Damn, I want to be able to draw like you! Such force, such dynamics, these two have the power to draw the masses in! Amazing that you draw couples with such unity - I am in awe.

spastica234 In reply to saniika [2008-03-10 19:24:05 +0000 UTC]
Hrm...one reason is the mask...and I think you did a great job capturing the essence of Sarah as Christine...in other words she may not look exactly like Sarah, but you made her so much like Sarah Brightman...ugh...I can't really explain it...
