This is the first time I've worn boots like this for a cosplay and in real life X_X Even though I'm a girl, I'm not much of a heel person and mostly wear flip flops or flats. So I never thought I would end up wearing these someday. Although they look beautiful on me, they are painful wearing them (oh the things I do for cosplay). But I did like the fact that I felt somewhat taller in them Things really do look different 5 inches higher xD

In this picture, you get a good look at my white skirt/sash thing. I free-hand traced the edges, cut them all out by hand, fray-checked, and used a silver fabric marker to add the silver detailing which you can't really see, but its there. Most time consuming part of the costume, really thought I was going crazy having to cut all of them. Not only that, but I had to do the same thing on the neck collar piece and both sleeves. I really am crazy... But I fell in love with the end result So it was all worth it!

I made everything you see here except for the boots (which I bought, but replaced the lace with a silver cord and tassels), the black gloves, flowers, pin on my collar (i forgot whats it called), and the white blouse shirt underneath (i altered the neck collar and the sleeves), and wig. Jacket and shorts are lined with bias taped edges.

I started this project in July and finished mid-August, working on and off and gathering materials. I took home Best Novice with this cosplay and with at AWA 16.
