Dont use a bumpmap then but the skin texture is pretty much a given if trying for "photo-realistic" looking borg...u know ie "7" didnt really have bumpy skin, i dont think. Ur using V4?
cuz there a couple of GOOD V3 texture free on the net.

Anyway good luck with it, I want to attempt one myself too.

As much as I love your usual works, and I'm definitely eager to see more of them, I'm glad to see you're exploring other genres with your character! I'm not too sure I like her as a borg, though. As far as a render goes, though, this is pretty good!

She looks very sweet and innocent for a Borg, in contrast to what they do. Her props and clothing look a little loose on her but they still look very Borg like.

The lightning and her skin texture also much closer approximates a Borg's; the image is less dense than your first one and I think it helps convey the Borg-ness of the image better.

I wouldn't make a good Borg. LOL...

When I worked for GE Medical Systems (after my days at Philips ) we had a Borg cube with the GE Logo on the sides, and our motto was 'You Will Be Assimilated'. At that point, GE had finally discovered that the best way to beat their competition was to buy them.

That did really bad things to our business...
