Way to Phu village (4060m) in Nepali Himalayas just few hours walk from Tibetan border. But this actually IS Tibet. People, culture, way of life ...but it is disappearing so fast as youngsters are not coming back from the schools down in the cities... Who wants to herd yaks, goats and plant barley or potatoes, walk three days to the first road and smallest shop and never hear anything about wi-fi or mobile signal anymore? This is the place. But I guess the original life of Phu village (together with Naar the biggest one in the area) is sadly already almost gone.
The trek is called "The Hidden valley" and it is really beautiful and locals friendly. But beware of Sherpas making bussiness in this areas. And avalanches.
