Description AOC (Abnormal Objects Compendium)

Log entry - Subject 691 "Jean"

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

AOC-691 is a three piece latex costume vaguely resembling Dryocampa rubicunda (Common name: Rosy maple moth), the costume consists of an inflatable hood, an inflatable neckpiece (not pictured), and a bodysuit. (It should be noted the apparent "glasses" and "blush" are merely part of the hood decal)

The most notable aspect of AOC-691 is the effect it seems to have on wearers, notably, AOC-691 seems to "lure" individuals into wearing it, even if they are typically averted to such things. And after being worn, AOC-691 seemingly exhibits a profound mental effect over it's wearers.

After donning AOC-691 for a period of time, individuals will begin referring to themselves by the name "Jean" during conversation, and will use the words "she" and "they" when referring to themselves.
(It should be noted that individuals who already refer to themselves as "they" seem to use said pronoun slightly more while under the effects of AOC-691 than a typical subject, the significance of this is unknown.)

Individuals also seem to believe their physical appearance reflects that of AOC-691 while under it's effects, and will often attempt to create self portraits or social media posts as "Jean"

The overall personality of subjects affected by AOC-691 tends to be relaxed and friendly, with no noted instances of hostility to date, outside of perceived self-defense from the attempted removal of AOC-691.

The effects of AOC-691 do not appear to differ based on a subject's sex, gender, or ethnicity (aside from the aforementioned pronoun influence)

Oddly, through all tests, no equipment has managed to detect any actual form of hypnosis/mental alteration from AOC-691, leaving the true cause or legitimacy of its effects unknown.
