Luster Dawn, Twilight Sparkle's Top Student was visiting her hometown of Canterlot a week in advance of the Grand Galloping Gala (she likes to be three steps ahead) as Twilight had sent her a ticket. It had been One Year since she'd been sent to Ponyville to learn about "The Magic of Friendship" Just as her Mentor Before her had done. Granted she was no expert in socializing, but she put her best hoof forward and Learn as much as she could.
Luster had been settling in west wing of the castle, she was starting to unpack her one week's worth of luggage filled with necessities, books and ballgown for the Gala. Since she had some free time she decided to pull out a Spellbook and Practice some Magic, flipping through the pages Luster stopped on a page where it seemed there was an Unfinished Spell.
Luster: Wait, was this always in here? It seems like a combination of An Astral Alignment and old Arcane magic. Interesting, I wonder what it does?
She Followed The Spell instructions (or lack there of) she began to cast the spell, Her Horn Got brighter and brighter. The Spell was using a majority of her magical energy and finally, the Spell started to take effect With a Big Flash of white light covered the room. Luster had been really dazed after using that much magic, as soon as Her vison returned to normal she noticed something beyond strange... There was a Mare looking to be around her age laying on the ground along with a baby unicorn filly by her side. And as If it wasn't strange enough upon further Inspection Luster was in shock to realise that this mare was an Alicorn.
Luster: How?! Princess Twilight, Cadance and Flurry Heart are the Only Alicorns of Equestria! (Luster does know about Celestia and Luna as well)
The Baby unicorn crawled to the Mare's face gurging and pressing against her face.
Harmonia Starling: *coos*
Glimmering Hope: Hrnnn.... Harmonia?... Starlie?! You're alright! Thank Celestia you're alright! hold on... when did We get to Canterlot castle?
Glimmy Then Met Eyes with Luster who was still in bewilderment trying to process what was happening in front of her, until finally deciding to break her silence.
Glimmering Hope: Excuse me but can you tell me how wh-
Luster: Who Are You?! Why are you an Alicorn?!! This is just insane!
Glimmering Hope: Hey calm down! What do you mean who am I? My Name is Glimmering Hope and this is my baby sister Haromina Starling, we're 2 of Twilight Sparkle's Daughters.

Just then a guard came and forced the door open.
Guard: Luster Dawn! What's wrong? Heard Quite Distressful Shouting so I... An, Alicorn Mare?...
Glimmering Hope: why is Everypony finding that so strange?!
Guard: This Just can't be... Ma'am You're coming with me!
Glimmering Hope: Huh? But I-
Luster: Hold on! Sir, before rushing to conclusions shouldn't we At lest consult the Princess on what do with this Mare? after she all also has a foal with her after all.
Guard: ... You may just have point. Alright then, Lets see what the Princess decides to determine this situation. Start Moving Ma'am!
Glimmering Hope: Okay! (so, this is what it's like be treated like a prisoner. I can't say it's pleasant)
The Guard Then Started to forcefully escort Glimmy with Harmonia on her back towards the throne room with Luster close behind, Both still in unease and confusion.
