Description Here's my guess as to what your reaction is right now: OMG! SapphireFoxx made an interactive Flash!!

Yes I did! This is something I've wanted to try out for quite some time. There isn't much clothing or hair style selections here, but this is just a proof of concept to make sure it all works.

The main thing I want to test in this demo is the saving function. It will not only save your character while you continue playing with the model, but the save will persist even after you close out of the window and come back to this page later. Hell, it should still be saved months from now (as long as you don't delete the save file on your computer). Be sure to let me know if you have any problems with saving or loading.

So why did I make this? I want to make an interactive TG game! It would play out more like a visual novel than an animation, but the player will control their character's choices and appearance.

The idea I had for the story is that a guy drives to Florida to meet his girlfriend there for an extended vacation. However, after he arrives he gets a call from her saying that she's breaking up with him. He becomes depressed and thinks that he won't meet anyone else, and that his vacation is ruined. So after a run in with the Fox, he starts slowly turning into a woman.

This transformation is unique because it will be gradual and the player will be able to control parts of it, as you see in the demo. After the transformation, the character will meet four potential love interests (two males, and two females) who the player has the option to date and interact with. The player will also be able to buy clothing and choose their current outfit.

Since making this game will be such a huge task, I'm planning on selling it rather than letting people play for free. I'm not sure about the price or where it will be sold. It might be for sale on TGcomics.com, my website, or some other online outlet.

If people are interested in seeing this game made, and are willing to buy it, then I could make it a reality in the next few months.

I could suggest anything... How about eyes color? There will be possibility to change them? Or more skirts...

I might just keep the purple eyes constant. That will be a way of showing the character is the same under that changing body.

You also need to add the option of changing footwear. Few things are more feminie than 5 inch heels.

It's cool but A cup is more like upper C cup. B > D - C > E - Beyond that > Plastic

I like the idea i also noticed the hairstyle bug. I thonk tha adding more hairstyles is a good idea maybe even a super long one.

Hairstyle keeps showing one of 4, also I think it's hairstyle 3 (cant tell for sure) but on mood 4 it is not sitting on the shoulders like it should, not certain if you can fix that considering that it was mapped for mood 1

Grab a flowchart program like yEd [link] - It's saved my life.

I'm not sure if I'll do Indiegogo, but it seemed to work out well for when I did it with Stealing From Sis. I just don't know what I would set as a goal.

I know a little bit about flow charting.If your going to do what you say your going to do and problem with it, then I would go shorter goals and pile them into one big ultimate goal

I go with the old KISS idea or "Keep It Simple stupid". Engineers were constantly running int that problem of Engineering something that didn't work. Rather than Engineering some thing that does work. There are several advantages to doing it thing way

1. It easier to engineer it and follow what the program doing better.
2. If do have a problem, you will most likely problem at.
3. Most people that write computer program codes, don't write half the computer program the use. They use subroutines, so they don't have to keep code over and over again. You will probably want to make another computer game. If you do, half your computer code will have already written for.

I would suggest smaller goals, then big goal. Also standardize your design and document it so you know what it doing. I only have some training in it, my friends twenty years in computer programing. He say, it gets real hairy when you get one of programers that have ulterior motive and will write it every which to confuse. With thousand of lines of code, hes says doesn't know what that computer do.

I hope I am not preachy to you or anything. Your going to have thousand of lines of code or more of computer code. We a program this big, a flow chart works best if you have ten to fifteen smaller flow chart rather than one big. The bigger the flow chart, the more if, then, or else, you run into and more choices that program is either going some place else in the program or changes the value of what it holding to some other value.

Trust me, I don't want this to become too overly complicated and chaotic. That doesn't mean that it won't be detailed, but I don't want to have a hundred branching storylines.

I think a better way to have options in the story is to have that option affect your relationship with the love interest you are talking to. Rather than setting you off, locked in a story branch, the choice will change how the other character thinks of you.

Also, the character's opinions will be more detailed than most dating sims. There will be three categories: Like, Love, and Lust. Reaching higher levels in each category will affect how they treat you and what you can do with them.

As for the programming aspect, I am a computer science student, and I understand all too well how much better code is when it is shorter and simpler.

sounds like you planning on using fuzzy logic ai for the npcs, I been thinking of having an ai driven interactive story. makes it more like a simulation, free-form, sandbox type of game. what i was thinking is the gender and species of the npcs could be altered as well, I am a furry so i tend to create stories in a furverse full of many species.

This game looks very good and sexy for a 1.0 Version.

Can't wait to see the 10.0 Version where we can create our own transformations. [Just kidding.]

I need more hairstyles, clothes and moods and changing skin and eye color and some clothes like the bikini 5/6.

Going Novel Style for most of the game, definitely is the way to go with a game like this. Going video with much of any of video, even just doing the transformation alone, will be labor intensive to generate.

There seems to be some interest in this game here for what you are doing. You might consider putting together a Beta site either here or some place else so you can finish developing it. Then offer special Beta discount special to people here to help test out game and work out any of the bugs that are in to. I will probably bugs in it too.

Might help cut down on the time it takes to do it and generate some pr work while your at it.

Just an idea.

Beautiful this is my favourite idea yet of yours its a lot of fun watching you progress as an artist as you only continue to improve and its not easy when every individual flash must consume so much time.

As for funding here are a couple of suggestions just in case you havn't thought of them yourself. There is offbeatr which has had an etremely successful project from Fenoxo a guy who deals in all forms of TF and considering you have built such a powerful fanbase so quickly this could generate more income than you think only problem is they take a 20% cut and you may have to offer extras that are too time consuming. There is also indiegogo if you are not planing to have much sexual content in the game and already Gender bender DNA twister extreme generated more cash than they expected and considering you are offering flash transformations within a visual novel style then you definitely have an edge here and you have more fans than they do. Well just a couple of suggestions to try and help but always go for what you are comfortable with. Your current suggestion could lose money due to pirates on the net and I have seen it happen with other flash games. Had no idea you owned TGcomics.com though but I love that site a lot so thanks for that as well. Obviously do what you are most comfortable with as there have been too many good artists lost due to over stretching themselves.

I hope my suggestions at least help and I would like to thank you for everything you have done already but I won't take up any more of your time as running a website, getting hundreds of comments and doing flash animations must leave you pretty short on time. If you do suggest either Indiegogo or offbeatr I will do my best to spread the word to generate interest through over sites that also love TG TFs.

i was thinking if you are gonna animate the game, even if its short, the branching story would drive the effort to a level o par with a movie. perhaps you could do ,like so many other interactive story, is have poses and short loops that are reusable. As long as the story is good I am sure we the players wont mind so much.

Like I said in the description, there wouldn't be many animations in the game because they take a long time to do. Most of the story will play out like a visual novel. However, there will be animations in some cut scenes like during the transformations.
