I did this awhile ago, and finally got it cleaned up, inked and colored. The girls are getting ready for a dance or party of some sort. (I always see Cindy trying to help everyone else get ready because she used to do that with her step-sisters, and now it's habit XD) I just drew four of them, and I don't know why these four, but there you are XD They were all done from memory, just to see if I could. Still based on the original models, but also in my style. I decided just to go with it ^____^' (Also, yes I know the dresses have no textiles... *sigh* I fail at textiles )From left to right: Ariel, Jasmine, Pocahontas and Cinderella.

Nice!! I love the colors and the mood of it!! its calm yet exciting!! And I love cinderella's dress because it kind of reminds me of the one she desigined and the mice and such made in the movie!! And I just noticed the makeup container ariel has is a seashell! Nice touch!! Great job!!

I love this! The details are amazing, especially when it comes to the folds in the cloth and the individual designs for each one of them. And I really do love the relaxed, human feel of the image, as though it really is a snapshot into their day.
Ariel's pose makes me laugh, Pocahontas' catches my attention using psychic line (two out of the three of the other characters are looking at her), but it's Cinderella that really holds my attention. I love the soft, almost serene look of her expression.

Yeah, it's an actual term involving when an artist is trying to create an unconscious focal point without the use of color or balance. It's all about the eyes, or if someone is leaning towards something else, or a shape is leading, almost arrow-like to another shape. It's human nature for us as viewers to look at what everyone else is looking at, and the more eyes or shapes aimed at one figure the better for emphasis.
Ah, I knew that design class was good for something. XD Good ol' education...

I remember learning that term, and I knew what you meant, but I think we called it something different. I don't remember what it was now... But that's why it struck me as so unique. It totally works within the context, of course ^3^

This is simply AMAZING! All the dresses fit them PERFECTLY, and the expressions and overall art in general is just PERFECT! I can't stop staring at Ariel; that dress is just so PERFECT! She looks GORGEOUS in dark green!

I'm so glad you like it! Ariel is always a bit harder to costume because her hair is a ridiculous color, but green and red always go together
