Warning- very quickly done, and very rough!I am having WAY too much fun with drawing the Disney Princesses XD Here we have them, all gathered in one of the shared dorm rooms (which I didn't really decorate, as the scene was quite busy enough) . This would be one of the dorm rooms of Princess Prep, a private school I made up as a place for the Disney gals to study and live together, which I hope to turn into a comic one of these days XD Meg is telling everyone a fascinating story (no clue what. ) If anyone wants to figure out what they're all saying, or what Meg is saying, be my guest! (Sorry, bad BatB pun >_< )
From left to right- Aurora, Cinderella, Pocahontas, Belle, Mulan, Ariel, Snow White, Meg, Esmeralda, Jasmine, Kida, Jane.

Well, Disney abandoned about 4 of them. But then again, I guess I am hopeless. At least I don't have a crab with a Jamaican patois as a babysitter, although I do attract animals. (I was making a reference to The Little Mermaid). I'm not a vegetarian and my favorite song in The Little Mermaid (aside from "Part Of Your World" and "Under The Sea") is the song Louie, the French chef is singing in the kitchen as he's preparing the seafood dinner. I even join in.

It's the ones that weren't marketable >__< Heehee, I love that song! "Les poissons, les poissons, heeheehee! Honhonhon!" XD Belle is my favorite, but they all have such interesting designs!

For some odd reason, I like the unmarketable ones. My father's got this stereotype that the men in marketing are the type of guys that would say "Shut up and make me a sammich" and that the women in marketing are hypermasculine and heartless.
I sometime try to parody that song and replace "poissons" with the name of whoever I'm angry at. Here's an interpretation of it.
"Here's something for tempting my patience
Prepared in the classic technique
You'll feel a stabbing sensation
As I slash through your skin
give your bellies a slice
Then I'll rub curry in
then they'll think you taste nice"

I just might start my own company. I planned out doing a doll series for adults that make fun of the stereotypes that we go through every day. Some of my dolls will actually be based off of some stereotypes that go with my ethnicities (I'm a mutt with more than 5 nationality-based roots. I've got ten or so countries or tribes attached to my DNA). For example, I'm part Portuguese and our stereotype is that we get lost easily. The doll in this example would come with a small, hard to read map.
I do admit that my Tom Lehrer-ish tendencies are a result of being raised by artistic geniuses who let me watch the Itchy and Scratchy segments of The Simpsons since I was little. My environment was usually full of pop culture references.

Ooh! Ooh! Mutt here! It's so much easier to tell you what I'm not than what I am. Plus, I found out recently that my ancestors on my dad's paternal side are their own ethnicity, kind of like the Basques. It's so fun! But I didn't know this about the Portuguese? I've never heard of that! Stereotype dolls would be funny, though. Like a big, busty, brawny, loud Northern European woman carrying her husband and children under one arm. That's me XD (Minus husband and kids, but you get the idea) .
Ah, me too! Not Itchy and Scratchy, but we'd sit down and discuss the reasons the old Looney Tunes cartoons were brilliant, in a very philosophical way. XD

Well, the dolls are male since Mattel already does female dolls of the world (Barbie) and besides, I feel that it would compliment them. (Besides, I don't think that all women of the world wear those "international" outfits everyday.)
Well we'd also watch the old Looney Tunes cartoons. It's actually a shame they stopped making them after that one movie failed. I could imagine Wile E. Coyote being a victim of identity theft and the Roadrunner getting an unfair advantage (He'd be the thief) if they did make new ones. Of course, I wouldn't really champion identity theft, but this was an idea that one of my relatives had.

No, they certainly don't! And I think having international dolls should also include international body-types, you know? No one is actually built like Barbie, except Vera Ellen, but she was anorexic, and her measurements still weren't that insane!
Oh, I agree! But part of the problem is, also, that the geniuses responsible for the original cartoons are largely dead.

Wow. This is just the best thing I've ever seen in my life. I wish I could do this kind of stuff (draw a bunch of my fave characters together interacting).
I love every single thing about this. I love the outfits and the personalities that you can see immediatly.
I think maybe Meg is telling funny moments when Hercules was trying to impress/hit on her.
Something like, " And then, he tried to "rescue" me from the water beast, but got punched in the face."
Snow White is giggling about it.
Aurora is of course dolling herself up when Cinderella comes in with cups of hot cocoa and coffe.
She's all like, "Not for me Cindy, thanks, I'd be up all night 'cause of that stuff. And, of course, I need mt beauty rest."
