basically he's stuck between his parents (and a good chunk of the adults) wanting Shatterednight's kits dead, his brother wanting them to suffer, his sister wanting to have kits with them (because she wants those large genes) and realizing they've done nothing wrong and if their father's crimes really mattered to stack against them why does nobody have a problem with Jace?
