I know, sorry. If I remembered correctly, didn't he break the clock to prevent any time travel, so Dark Danny wouldn't be a possibility anymore?

nope, he let danny see what the future would be so he'd make a different choice and that future technically never happened.  since dark dan came back to danny's time he apparently got kind of stuck out of time or something so cw kept him trapped in the thermos in his tower.  after that we have no idea what happens with him.

Perhaps this is something that Clockwork had to do to prevent Dark Danny from returning to the future? or going back to re-solidify his existence?

i didnt really think of it as being related to dark dan... i was thinking more it's some scenario where he's fed up with the observants pestering him all the time and is flipping out. idk, it wasn't very clear lol
