Description
Level 2Entry for the Victorian Christmas contest on #ManipulateThis
This picture is voted to the first place in the beginner category, my very first win ever in my life D: and I am vey thankful to all who have voted for this picture
So romantic and magical the Victorian period looks to us today. with all the beautiful playful things, there was also another side: The traditional obligations and unconditional obedience to the society, parents - and husbands ... but what about the secret desires of a woman ... I have tried to show these ideas, so far it was possible for me.

Just wanted to let you know that I have requested to both groups, I think it was a very good idea from you - well I am somehow a little bit conservative I guess thought it could look untrue to #ManipulateThis by doing something for another group and maybe having not enough time for the "first love", I see this was silly
Thank you my Dear

I have an entire folder of stock from ~unholy-stock since she gave permission for deviants to download what might be used in the future. Was so sorry to see she deleted everything.
I love the detail in the deviation. Right down to the distant moon in the window. Good luck in the contest!

I was truly thankful she gave all of us manipers out in dA land some time to download what we wanted from her gallery before she removed the stock. She was kind to give us a heads-up that she was going to remove everything, so there was time to download.
Being a stock provider myself, I told my daughter that if anything happens to me to leave my stock up and to update the journal to say it is free to be reposted.

This is beautiful!!
Overall this scene is perfect! It looks like you've gone through great trouble with her hands but they look good o me now
There is but one thing that stands out in this scene: the chandelier. Try adjusting the hue a bit to make it more yellow or orange coloured to better match the atmosphere in the room
Otherwise, this is amazing
Best of luck for the Contest!!!

done ... did it rather fast, at work ... don't know if I can do it before sunday when the contest ends, so I used some time when no customers were in here, I also did some smoothing for the background as brandrificus suggested.
Well I cannot count all the little things I learned while playing with that theme, amazing at all, this group and all you beautiful people is the best which could happen to me

Wow ! this is absolutely fantastic work ! You've used an incredible mount of stock here , and it all comes together wonderfully here in this scene. I have only one suggestion to offer here. I would suggest bluring slightly the objects behing the man verying the degree of blur as you go farther into the room. This will add the element of depth . Great job ! Good luck in the challenge !
