Description
Mickey was gone, spirited away into the somehow-brighter shadows that clung close to the Light. Aqua had slipped back into the depths, where endless walking, endless fighting, was all that remained. Eternal darkness.Nothing had changed. Nothing would ever change here.
Until, at last, when she least expected it, something did.
"Well, well..." came a voice she had never expected to hear again. She stopped in her tracks, eyes wide, and looked up at the rocky arches that twisted over head. A boy sat upon one with the grace of a cat, his golden eyes full of mirth as he stared down at her.
"Look who the shadows pulled in."
Vanitas. The one who had taken Ventus from her. Her surprise fell away to anger.
"You."
