On the roof
Looking for the next
Flash!
Right ahead
Then
BOOM rattle rattle
The house around me shivers
I close my eyes
Savoring the sounds
Breathing deep the smell
Of fresh washed air
Hearing the susurrus
Of wind in trees and grass
Till I hear the next big
Crack crackle BOOM
And again I look
Searching for the
Flash
