Description
Very much inspired by Daimera's beautiful drawing of the Nuckelavee found here[link]
And scythemantis info and links of the critter found here
[link]
And I found myself compelled to draw a version of my own. It's partial however I was running out of paper to draw on...plus I was at work and getting all sorts of weird looks, and apparently frightened people off to not sit at my table during lunch hour LOL
But yeah very very fun to draw!!!

Mindblowing detail, even with the rest of it cut off it looks awesome enough to pass for finished, you don't need to add a thing
If you feel you ran out of room though you could always have it emerging from a fog bank or smog or something
The pose is incredible, I especially love the way the rider is reaching around and the visible bones between his muscles. The fin-like bits are really cool too.

THis is fricking awesome! I used the same media for my version, (mechanical pencil) but yours trumps mine by a million!

Nicely detailed and designed. I really like the anatomy and pose. Fine expressions.

I actually prefer your shading of the separate muscle fiber much more than the piece that inspired you. The lines and separation are really just fabulous, sweetie! <3 ^.~

HolyaflasdkjfsCOW. As usual, your attention to detail on bare musculature really shines through, and the detail of the shading in general is breathtaking. D8
Hurrah for the Nuckelavee!

yes, decaying creatures are very entertaining... like the various layers present (skeletal, muscular) and shreds coming off... nice!
