Barbara Gordon: Face Front

Thought I would add an image of Barbara Gordon as Oracle to go with my recent Batgirl pic. This was originally done for an art jam in which participants drew their favorite character's "dome." I came up with this to show the lady herself along with nods to both her "superhero" identities. I gave it the new title "Face Front" because I noticed the Orcale avatar being in front of Babs and the Batgirl shadow behind her could be seen as kind of symbolic. Barbara is best when she's facing forward to new challenges as opposed to looking back at what she's lost. Fortunately the powers that be at DC came to that realization too. Others have taken on the Batgirl mantle (and "Batwoman" is taken as well), but Oracle is an identity that is uniquely Babs's.
