roses are one of my favourite photography subjects, especially like this. i agree with your statement about the contrast of colours, it adds lots of interest to an already beautiful photograph. the entire effect, to me, is one of serenity and reminisce. ^^; errr...i think what i intended to say before i began rambling is that i really love this piece. good job!
