The first concept design for the Heremitaling, the Hermit Borderling. I visualized it as a dark, tall, and mothlike figure that appeared underneath any streetlight at night. At first, it was called the Lamppost Borderling, but it has a better role as a hermit, keeping Witnesses safe from predatory Borderlings.
