Description
This is an 8 shot stitch panoramic looking West off Sgurr Mor over the horns of Alligin, Stuc loch na Cabhaig and Beinn Dearg with the mountains of Beinn Eighe and liathach in the background. This shot is the culmination of three days in this area of North West Scotland known as the Western Ross near Torridon. Changeable weather for the first couple of days meant a few fleeting rainbow shots between showers, but our last yomp up Beinn Alligin rewarded us with fantastic conditions from what is an amazing viewpoint. If i were to face 180 degrees from this shot i would be looking out over the lochs of Torridon and Maree towards the Isle of Skye (and on this night the old man of storr was just visible to the naked eye) and the Outer Hebredies. It is truly an awe inspiring place to be and a place to be that is ultimately good for the soul.
