Personally I'll still get myself checked...
It's enlightening...in a way. Although you'd swear never to pick your nose again knowing there's a species of bacteria living up there that can kill if it enters your bloodstream.

Used to when i was a kid.
I learnt about this during one of our practicals in which we had to swab our noses to see if we had this bacteria up our noses.
Lucky i didn't, but one of my classmates was a walking biological bomb. XD
