it just stands for "original character", be it a character someone created for an existing series, or a completely original series of theirs.

Yeah, i'm a bit of a manga nut. Not to the extent that some people are, i'm slightly picky about the art [if the eyes don't look good, i don't read it >.>'] I have tried countless times to turn my own story into manga, so it's difficult for me to think of how i could help you?

Well, I've got a problem with the story. And that's it. I've got everything : world, characters, but story... eh, that's difficult : ok, guy with a sword and his pet crow bring back souls which escaped from Infershia ( it's not a hell, it's a place where all souls live : good and evil). And that's the problem, it's such a lame story, and I want to create more interesting plot than this ^^ Any ideas?

Main village? No, more like underworld.
Main character is an infernal knight, he has a demon within and he serves his master (Death, Banshee, name it whatever you like).
He has nothing to accomplish, he's like a pawn, without free will.

Yep, Death has minions, not main charac. I mean, it's this main charac and his 2 other friends, infernal knights too, with demons inside them etc. But Death doesn't have an army or somethnig like that.

just keep at that for a bit. if you don't have a villian, you don't have much of a story. you can always look into mythology for some ideas. one of the ideas for my naruto OC came from japanese mythology, for her father's history. all completely by accident even lol ^^'

m-hm. my completely original story actually is based very lightly off of greek mythology [mainly only the fact of all the gods and that's about it], but pick and choose stuff that you like, and you can really come up with an interesting universe if you can get enough thought behind it.
