I felt soooo bad after my first commission way back a few months ago turned out like crap... so I finally got the nerve to ask if I could sketch something out of the same character to prove to myself that I've gotten better from then... and I have to say it gave results.

original commission: fav.me/d76mg4d (I may have forgotten the shading on the sleeves on this ...)
the original took nearly 3 weeks because i kept messing up again and again, while this colored sketch took me an hour and a half!

yeah really though, is my way of formally apologizing to who I was super excited to draw for because he was my first commissioner, but it left me utterly defeated in the end.
