That actually happened to me too, except that a jockey jumped on my head and then dropped me off of the cliff in the second chapter of Dark Carnival, past the motel. Cursed Jockeys!

lol. The friend of one of my gaming buddies actually was ridden off the balcony by a Jockey in the first chapter of the Dead Center campaign. From what I was told, the poor guy didn't know whether to laugh or be pissed off.

You should be able to talk together, as long as it's not an in-game program (like both playing on the same campaign).
You guys won't be able to play together/interact game-to-game (as in L4D2 survivor talking to L4D survivor), at least for the time being.

I think the Tank destroyed my friend at the end. It took two more tries to finish the game.
And I don't think I can answer that question for I haven't the slightest clue. I haven't had the time to really mess around with the game... and it's not even mine xD

I tried to do that with my sister's computer too. Unfortunately, you need separate copies for each STEAM account you plan to install it on.
