Naruto NEVER ignored Hinata. He consistently, constantly helped her gain confidence. He and Hinata could identify with each other by looking at each other's eyes. Hinata's near death triggered the KN6 transformation and he cried tears of joy when he realized he didn't hurt her, and nearly hurting Hinata was Naruto's motivation to try to master Kurama's power. Kiba consistently said Naruto shows off in front of Hinata (as shown during the brief Tobi bout in Part II) and all the way back to Part I we have Naruto's vow to avenge Hinata's loss on Neji AND the Proud Failure talk which Naruto says 'He likes people like Hinata'.
And its the same thing. You're in Mugen Tsukuyomi just like NaruSaku.

In fact, what Kishi said in an interview was that Sasuke and Naruto had more possibilities to end up together that any of them come to do away with some girl. He even considers the SasuSaku and NaruHina as couples (he said his favorite couple was SasuNaru). Chapter 700 was all invention of his assistants, since according to Kishimoto manga OVER in Chapter 699.
