Well, a good part of me liking Whooves/Twilight duo comes from some fics on fimfiction.net, as well as related audio episodes.
And, I realize now I said nothing about the art itself... sorry.

Ehhhh, I think the artist might have just made their own style.
To me Steam punk often means FUgly as hell, the picture isn't fugly.
I guess it could be steam punk, but the steam and punk has definitely been scaled back. I suppose Steam punk can look REALLY GOOD once an artist figures out that steam pipes coming out of people's eyes and nostrils is just plain nasty to look at.
