Lyra Hearstring, "The Importance of Sitting" xD Awesome. That's just one of them of course! I also like how you have the Gallifrey planet emblem on the TARDIS blue book....another one to mention as a favorite of course. To be honest, I used to actually not enjoy this pairing, nor Derpy as a character simply because originally she was just a token to make fun of. However, as time went on and the fanbase grew, I noticed that more people took note of this and then wrote her as a very humble character with a favorite food. I also figured out that this pairing works so well, because Derpy is mysterious, yet endearing -- something the Doctor always looks for in a companion...so naturally I got to appreciate both the ship, the FRIENDship, and character of Derpy herself.
But I have derailed badly off the point...your soft expression in your color as a warm friendly tone to your style of drawing and painting gives me a feeling that you care about these characters and you allow me to find more reasons to enjoy these characters too. And this drawing reiterates that very point. <3

for the pairing, I seldom put that much emotion on characters but I somehow found doctor and derpy was very...suitable and emotioned, so therefore I can't stop my hand for making this lol.

I find many artists liking ponies more than other art, but I believe it doesn't take away from the fact just because it deals with a singular theme. However, I'm sure that if you did draw people, your effort would still result in a beautiful product.
However, yes, ponies are cool.
