Yellow isn't really one of my colors, but I've been wanting to try a Hyung-Tae Kim'ish yellow for awhile, I actually learned a bit from coloring this and thought it turned out pretty well. Not much else to say... a lot more to come.
Edit: The tattoo was slightly off on her hand, I went back and fixed it.

This is a damn cool picture! I'm really glad I found your account (through the . . . shall we say . . . drama of another deviant). I'm particularly drawn to the detail you've put into the image. It's not too busy, but rather, really gorgeous to look at and study everything you've done in it. I also like your usage of the diamond pattern on the clothing.

the new version is great , I don't like very much the yellow tones , if U have used more thna one color in the outfit I think that would be better , like a mix of yellow and grenn or yellow and blue.
The draw is very good , the pose is nice and the ball in the hat looks very cool.

I tried going for a pure blue, or pure red before I tried yellow, originally she was suppose to be all red and blue but it didn't really fit. By mix do you mean one color fading to another or like... hat and skirt be one color and then the skirt be another?

I suppose I'll be the first to mention this...but doesn't she look like a Taxi? I think all taxi drivers need to be female and have uniforms like that. I wouldn't mind paying an arm and a leg if I got to sit by that during the ride. Cheers.

I kinda like the use of yellow on this one, man. It's a big departure from your usual colours, and I can see the HTK influence--I don't think that guy's found a yellow he didn't like.

Glad you like it. I'm wanting to try flatter and more saturated colors, doing heavy amounts of contrast has lost it's appeal to me.
