Done for the metroid-club's "Worlds of Metroid" contest.[link] Since I was in a sort of draw-y (Not a word) mood, I decided to do something for it, and submit my own take on Phaaze.

I know it actually looks nothing like that, but just swirly blues aren't fun to draw. So I messed with the idea a bit. Or a lot.

Mostly airbrushing (cause I have no talent for any other sort of painting on Photoshop) but the inside was created with some effects that I've learned through sig-making. Also, had NO clue what to do with the light source for this one, since the only one is kinda INSIDE the planet. Oh, and in case you're wondering, yes, that is supposed to be Dark-Samus's visor/helmet there, over to the right.

Took about 30 minutes, so not the best.

Metroid isn't mine. It be Nintendo's. I wish I owned Metroid, because then I'd have lots of moneh, but I don't.
