I actually love painting rainy scenes and this was a great practice test for the upcoming opening pages for Chapter 2. It rains so much and I'm questioning my decision there LOL.
Thank you all for the kind words... I am responding to your sweet comments individually but I wanted to say thank you for the encouragement here.
I also apologize for my ugly bellyaching. I seriously try so hard not to do that and it's embarrassing. I need to practice gratitude so much more and I know that will brighten any circumstance.

Joking aside, this is a very powerful picture, and I think Hannah looks even more sinister as a silhouette- I think it's the claw like fingers and the gleaming tiny eyes. *shivers*

This is amazing! I love that foggy rain and the sinister shadow victoriously lurking in the background (she’s amused by this one and that’s why she’s keft him around this long), her tiny glowing eyes are eek.
