Description

Far below the streets lies a secret lab operated by the hacker collective known as 404. The lab produces a street drug known as Fire Wire. Favored by tech runners for its accelerated synaptic firing and heightened neural responsiveness, it is also highly addictive and quite dangerous. Several cases of psychotic episodes have been linked to Fire Wire. Law enforcement is trying to shut down production of Fire Wire, covert government agencies are interested in the drug for their own purposes, and rival gang factions seek to take over the production and distribution of it.
