The funny thing is, I completed this drawing last night. So, things didnβt entirely go to waste.
On a lighter note, the new Spongebob episode did give me drawing material. Expect that soon.

I heard that the same happened with Rugrats until Spongebob become a hit, but I have the feeling that SpongeBob wont beΒ replaced any soon considering that, even if a show is popular like Steven Universe or Gravity Falls, it take a lot to become a timeless icon like it happened with Looney Tunes, the Simpsons and ofcorse SpongeBob. Also, I really love the face you give to SpongeBob

Well that's weird. I'll admit having the sponge win is at least a better alternative that TTG getting it, not great, but still better. After all Spongebob at least makes an attempt at making an effort and manages to put out something tolerable. Not like that trash trying to pass itself off as something it's not. I'm even more surprised that that train wreck hasn't crashed and burned yet. Hopefully people will realize how stupid those two shows are and get this problem fixed next time.

Can't say I'm shocked; Nick, even in their surprising success with Harvey Beaks, do still have some bias towards the sponge. Granted, the sponge is starting to re-earn his stripes with Stephen Hillenburg's return, but it remains to be seen if he can save this sinking ship.
